Steveston Cares Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Fund Walk

The Steveston Rotary Club is organizing a fundraising walk on Sunday, March 20, from 10am-2pm. There will be a one kilometre walk around the Steveston Village core, starting at Fisherman's Park at Third Avenue and Moncton Street. The walk will wind its way down Third Avenue, east along Bayview, up No. 1 Road then west along Moncton Street back to Fisherman's Park.

Donations will be accepted at Fisherman's Park, Third Avenue and Moncton. The Steveston Rotary Club will issue tax receipts for any donations of $20 or more.

Funds will be used to adopt a Japanese fishing village in Sendai through our Sister City in Wakayama, Japan. All the funds will flow through the Steveston Buddhist Temple directly to the village once we have secured the administration of the funds.

This event is fully supported by the Steveston Community Society.

Lets try and get everyone out to support this worthy cause. Help spread the word by forwarding this message to your family and friends.

Thanks Everyone - we look forward to seeing you on Sunday, rain or shine!  Japan walk map
